I was born and raised in Connecticut but spent about
ten years in Florida for family reasons. At present, I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, but my prior occupations include jobs,
which I sought to give me as a single parent, as much time as possible with my son. I worked as a teacher's aide for autistic
children, postal worker, circuit board welder, office clerk, stockbroker, bus driver, waitress, limousine chauffeur, children's
church teacher, private duty nurse (and I currently have a Christian-related jewelry line). I’m a self-taught artist
with privately owned works around the U.S.
I now reside in New Fairfield, Connecticut, with my husband,
Peter Scalera.
